YARDLEY, MARGARET IRENE - age 85 of Knoxville, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, November 10, 2008. Mrs. Yardley was a member of Mascot Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husband Lloyd A. Yardley; parents, Eli and Victoria Matthews; brothers Sam and Frank, and beloved sister, Anna Mae Mays. She is survived by her sweet sister Nettie Lawson; daughters Judy Wilson and Gayle Elkins and husband Keith; granddaughters, Ronda Hardin and husband Darrell, Tracye Foster and husband Tim, Shannon Wilson, Britney Wolfenbarger and husband Kenny; great grandchildren Lindsey Hardin, Landon Foster, Brett and Brooklyn Wolfenbarger, Kristi Harrison and husband Pat; great-great grandchildren Amelia and Wyatt Harrison; many precious nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the nursing staff of Hillcrest North 2nd floor and to Caris Hospice. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 12, 2008 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Highland South Memorial Park Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Keith Elkins officiating. Interment services will be Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Highland South Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Tim Foster, Darrell Hardin, Bill Lawson, Kenny Wolfenbarger, Gary Mays, Clinton McCarty, Wayne Matthews and Roger Matthews.
