She is preceded in death by her husband, Hughie Lawson; son, Larry Lawson; parents, Eli and Victoria Matthews; brothers, Sam and Frank Matthews; sister, Anna Mae Mayes, and Margaret Irene Yardley. Nettie will be sadly missed by son, James "Bill" (Phyllis); daughter, Janice Harmon; special son-in-law, Jack Harmon; grandsons, Todd, Neal Lawson, and Jason (Barbie) Harmon; precious great granddaughter, Riley Claire Harmon, and several nieces and nephews. Nettie was a member of Ramsey Heights Baptist Church. Services for Nettie will be Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at 8 pm with visitation from 6-8 pm at Highland South Funeral Home. Dr. Doug White and Rev. Keith Elkins officiating. Burial will take place Thursday at 11 am. Services are proudly conducted by the Highland South Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens. 865-573-7300
