CONATSER, GEORGE CLIFFORD - age 71, born Aug. 4, 1935, died Aug. 22, 2006 peacefully at home with his family. George joined the Air Force at age 17 and served 10 years before being honorably discharged. Later he joined the Army Reserve until honorably discharged from there as well. He most recently retired in 1992 from Chevron Research after 15 years. Survived by: wife of 47 years, Bobbie Marie; sons and spouses, Robert and Michelle Conatser and John and Anna Conatser; daughters and spouses, Anna Marie Conatser and Sibyl and Dwayne Bal; much beloved grandchildren, Jasmine Conatser, Christopher, Jeremy, Rebecca and Caitlin Bal, Jonathon, Randy, and Elizabeth Avalos and Kirsten and Chloe Conatser; his adopted by heart granddaughter, Chelsey Hernandez; brother, John Conatser; sister, AnnaLou Conatser both of Knoxville, TN; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Services were held in Richmond, CA. Interment at San Joaquin National Cemetery in Gustine, CA. Sunset View Mortuary, 510-525-5111.
