Clyde David McCroskey, age 78 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 9, 2015.
He faithfully attended Luretta United Methodist Church and served in the U.S. Navy.
He is preceded in death by his son, Brian McCroskey; parents, S.W. and Bessie McCroskey; several brothers and one sister.
David is survived by his wife of 58 years, Yvonne; son, Kim McCroskey and wife Dee; granddaughter, Tiffany and husband Jamie Foster; grandsons, Seth McCroskey, Travis McCroskey and wife Lauren; great-grandson and "joy of his life", Grayson Foster; great-granddaughter Molly Grace McCroskey due in Jan 2016. David is also survived by his brother, Glen McCroskey and sister, Josephine Turner; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Luretta United Methodist Church, c /o Marie Belt, 1011 Valley View Circle, Sevierville, TN 37876 or Roaring Fork Baptist Church Building Fund, 231 Church Street, Gatlinburg, TN 37738.
The family will receive friends 12 – 2 PM Saturday, December 12, with funeral service to follow at 2 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Heard, Rev. Buddy Garland and Rev.
