Gladys (Janette) Davis Spence, age 57, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 21, 2003.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elliott and Birdie Davis; infant son, Johnnie Ray Rollins; grandmother, Eliza Black; brothers, Burdette, J.A., Osborne, and Junior Davis; also sister, Carolyn Ball.
She is survived by her son, Terry Lee; daughter and son-in-law, Kristy Davis Nease and Barry Nease, Jr.; grandchildren, Karoline and Kaleigh; sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy Evelyn and Bill Welch and Alvonia and Carl Frisbee; brother-in-law, Frank Justus; special nephew, Jeffery Ball; also several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Brandi Ford all of Newport.
Janette will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends will meet at 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday at Blacks Cemetery on the Grassy Fork Road for a 1 p.m. graveside service with Rev. Fred Cagle officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening at Manes Funeral Home.
