McCarter, age 74 of Sevierville, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015. She was a member of Glades Lebanon Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Leona McCarter; brothers, Buford and Clinton McCarter; sisters, Beulah Carver and Betty Booton; and many more beloved family members. Her survivors include brother, Ted McCarter and wife Jean; sisters, Alma Williams and husband Roy, Mary Nell Jones, Dorothy Russell and husband L.D.; several nieces, nephews and special friends. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Atchley Funeral Home to benefit the family. Family and friends will meet 11AM Friday at Mountain View Cemetery for graveside service and interment with Rev. Lowell Wilson officiating. Arrangements by Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
