Anah was born October 30, 1922 and was the last surviving child of Mike and Eva (Connatser) Manning. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and neighbor. She was firm in her faith in Christ and a faithful member of Valley Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Anah was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Eugene Arwood; grandson, Timmy White; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike, Jr., Charlie and Esta Manning, W. Link and Daisy Manning, Ottis L. and Edna Manning, Earl D. Sr. and Eula Manning, Willie C. “Bill” and Annabel Manning; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Manning, Lida and Otha Parrott, Bunah and Lester Roberts, Lela and Clyde Gann. Survivors: Daughter and son-in-law: Regenia and Ed White Grandchildren: Tommy White and wife Kelly, Ann Catlett and husband Warren Great-grandchildren: Lee White, Dale Catlett, Chris Brooks Funeral service 7 PM Friday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Hyder and Dr. William Sims officiating. A eulogy will be given by Mayford Galyon. Family and friends will meet 12 noon Saturday at Jones Chapel Cemetery for interment.
