LYNN, ALICE C. - age 88, of Knoxville. "I'm tired and I want to go home." God granted her wish September 29, 2006. Having gone ahead of her were husband, J. R. Lynn, Sr.; daughter and son-in-law, Martha and D. L. Long; parents, Dave Carver and Dixie C. Patty. Honoring her memory are son and daughter-in-law, Robert (Bobby) and Jeanette Lynn; grandchildren, Rona Conner of Knoxville, Robby and Cindi Lynn of Richmond, VA, Yugo and Jackie Vance and family of Lenoir City, her greatest joy, her great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Sarah, Rebekkah, James and Jeffrey; brother and sister-in-law, Claude and June Patty of California. Sincere appreciation to the staff of 3rd North at Hillcrest North. The family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m. Monday at Shiloh Cemetery in Pigeon Forge for graveside services and interment at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop Billy McCool and Rev. Mark McCool officiating. Pallbearers: Ken Bounds, Gino Magdos, Carl Myers, Billy Briggs, Terry Garrett, and Yugo Vance. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Avenue at Broadway. Mrs. Lynn's guest book is also available at www.stevensmortuaryinc.com
