FRYAR, MATTIE ELLEN ( NANNY MOMA) age 90 of Knoxville passed away Saturday at her residence. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. Preceded in death by parents William & Virginia Riffey, husband Hobart Fryar, 5 sisters and 3 brothers, step daughters Mary Ward & Dorothy Norris, 2 sons in law Jack Harrison and Sam Thompson. Survived by daughters & sons in law Kay Fryar, Jane & Gary Hardin, Sue & Bobby Cummings, Donna & James Lawson, Linda Hicks, JoAnn Thompson, Judy & David Reynolds, Neva Harrison; sons & daughters in law Rick & Thelma Fryar, Ken & Julie Fryar all of Knoxville; 27 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren & 25 great great grandchildren; half brothers Woodrow, Lynn & Bill Riffey; 2 special nieces Delores Hartsook & Billie Fryar numerous other nieces & nephews. Funeral service 7:00 P.M. Sunday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel with Rev. Charlie Reynolds officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 P.M.
