Wayne John Stinnett, age 83 of Sevierville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 14, 2009. He was a Navy veteran, retired from ALCOA, Inc., and longtime member of Liberty Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife Gladys McClure Stinnett, parents Ashley and Lillie McCarter Stinnett, brothers Estel and Bruce Stinnett, and sisters Mattie Stinnett Manis and Ina Stinnett Brewer.

Sons: Steve Stinnett, Eddie Stinnett and wife Mary Lee
Grandson: Alex Stinnett
Step Grandson: Mark Baker and wife Tonya
Step great-grandsons: Cole, Aaron, and Ethan Baker

Family and friends will meet 10 AM Thursday in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens for graveside service and interment with Rev. Danny Suttles and Rev. Robert Settle officiating. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post #104. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Wednesday at Atchley’s Smoky Mountain Chapel, 220 Emert Street, Pigeon Forge.
