He was born in Charleston, South Carolina and was a graduate of Summerville High School. He worked as a construction manager and was also a US Navy Veteran of the Persian Gulf War. He is survived by his: Wife, Charlynn K.A. Matsui of Hilo, HI; Son, Jacob Pack of Hilo, HI; Daughter, Kayli Pack of Hilo, HI; Mother, Sandra (and the Late Ron) Williams of Seymour, TN; Brother, Michael (Michelle) Pack of Jacksonville, FL; Father and Mother-in-law, Curtis & Charlotte Matsui of Hilo, HI; Brother-in-laws, Jonathan (Jamie) Matsui of North Bend, OR and Jeremy (Ashley) Matsui of Coos Bay, OR; numerous nieces & nephews; aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral service 7PM Tuesday in Atchley's Seymour Chapel with Rev. Chad Rittenhouse officiating and eulogy by Greg Davidson. Interment 11:30AM Wednesday in East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, John Sevier Highway with military honors provided by American Legion Post #104.
