LOWE, ALBERT ELISHA JR. - age 59 of Powell passed away April 1, 2005 at St. Mary's Hospital. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Army and was a member of Old Chilhowee Baptist Church of Seymour.
Preceded in death by: parents: Albert Lowe, Sr., Mae Lowe and Annie Lowe, brother: David Lowe, sisters: Reva Maiden, Jeannie Kelly, Betty Cox and Flora Lee Wilson.
Survivors: loving wife of 33 years: Dardnella Lowe; sons: Rick Lowe of Oliver Springs, Jerry Lowe and Eddie Bowen of Knoxville, Randy Dickens, Timmy Philip and Mike Lester of Ohio, Jeffery Lester of Georgia; daughters: Betty Jane Justice of Oliver Springs, Drema Lowe of Sharps Chapel, Debbie Valoven of Ohio, Jill Campbell of Florida; brothers: Danny and Russell Lowe of Sharps Chapel, Rev. James McPhetridge of S.C., Floyd of Ala., Tom of Ariz.; sisters: Ezzie Garner of Seymour, Peggy Lawson, June Smith and Pat Couch of Knoxville, Mary Weaver and Janice Putnam of Powell; grandchildren: Ashley Lowe, Brett Blank, Katie, Kelsey and Caleb Justice of Oliver Springs, Donald Blume of Knoxville, Jill Lester, Mike, Elizabeth, Anna, Nina of Ohio, Brad, Cody and Stephney, Donnie, Ronnie and Jacquelyne all of Georgia; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will meet 1 pm Monday at Mynatt's Funeral Home and proceed to Byrds Chapel Cemetery for interment service at 2 pm with the East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard providing Military Honors. Pallbearers: Carl Dykes, Charlie Lawson, Eddie Bowen, Donald Blume, Jason Lowe and Lewis Rutherford. Mynatt Funeral Home.
