Gene attended Sevier Heights Baptist Church, he was a very loving husband, father, grandfather and great – grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Price Loveday; son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Debby Loveday; daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Glenn Westbrook; 4 grandchildren, Zachary, Briana, Jordan, and Colby; 2 great-grandchildren, Kira and Xavier; special sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Jerry; special brothers-in-law, James Price and Junior Price. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Vanderbilt University Hospital. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 23, 2014, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm in the Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway and a funeral service will follow at 7:00pm with Rev Charlie McNutt officiating.
