Gary L. Loveday, 63, of Grove City, Ohio, formerly of Woodsfield, Ohio, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015 at his home. He was born in Sevierville, Tennessee on August 2, 1952 a son of Amos and Ola Lane Loveday who survive of Newark, Ohio. Gary was an automotive sales manager; member of the First Baptist Church, Woodsfield, Ohio; a member of Monroe Lodge #189 F.&A.M., Woodsfield, Ohio. Gary also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving in addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Pat Fitzpatrick Loveday whom he married on September 11, 2000; one daughter, Alitza (Brian) Greer of Barnesville, Ohio; one son, Matthew Loveday of Cleveland, Ohio; two step-sons, Ryan (Brandy) Fitzpatrick of Monroe, Ohio, Shaun (Sheryl) Fitzpatrick of Grove City, Ohio; one sister, Judy Blasch of Newark, Ohio; two brothers, Amos Jr. (Mary Jean) Loveday of Columbus, Ohio, Lamar Loveday of Woodsfield, Ohio; two granddaughters, Alexis and Leia Grear; two step-grandsons, Mac Fitzpatrick and Declan Fitzpatrick. Friends will be received at the WATTERS FUNERAL HOME, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 12 noon until time of Masonic and funeral service at 2 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2015, with Pastor Tommy Mills officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Hospital, 3229 Burnet Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45229-3095.
