Mary Elizabeth (Liz) Gann, age 61 of Strawberry Plains, received her wings Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Mary was retired from Levi Strauss and Co. after many years of service. In her later years she enjoyed all the friends she met at her yard sales.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and cousin. Mary was preceded in death by her daughter, Jaime Lea Gann and parents, Robert and Evelyn Loveday.
She is survived by her Husband, Jimmy Lee Gann; Sisters, Linda Neubert and husband Danny, Brenda Hancock and husband Leroy; Brother, Henry Loveday and wife Lettie; Nephews, Rickey Parton and wife Becky, Danny Noland, Jr.; Special niece, Melinda Wright and husband Jerry; Niece, Mary Jones and husband Bill; several cousins and many cherished friends.
The family will receive friends 2-4 PM Saturday with funeral service to follow at 4 PM in the Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Wright officiating.
