January 17, 1928 - October 25, 2017 Edith M. Loveday, age 89 of Sevierville, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at LeConte Medical Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Sevierville. She was retired from Cherokee Textile Mills. Ms. Loveday was preceded in death by her parents Homer and Flora Hardin Loveday; brothers Amos, Carroll, Kenneth and James Loveday; and sister Mildred Hoover. Survivors include her sister Ruby Stalans; sisters-in-law Ola Loveday and Frances Loveday; several nieces and nephews; and very special nephew Jeff Loveday. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Pigeon Forge Care and Rehabilitation for the care they provided. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Millican Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Cemetery Fund, c/o Sheila Huskey, 2895 Victory Lane, Sevierville, TN 37876.
