Dixon, age 58 of Sevierville, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, July 18, 2015. He was employed by the Sevierville Water Department for 15 years and by Smoky Mountain Vending for 20 years. Over the years Steve touched and enriched many lives of the youth of his community by supporting and coaching them in several sports. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Kathryn Floyd; sister, Linda Mae Dixon; uncle, Johnny Headrick; brother-in-law, Herman Seagle Jr.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clay and Bernice Loveday; father, Earl Dixon His survivors include: Wife: Barbara Jo Dixon Son: Matthew Dixon Daughter: Miranda Dixon and fiancé Donald Hickman Grandchild: Dalton Hickman Brothers: Paul Dixon and wife Shirley, Don Dixon and wife Betty, Ricky Floyd and wife Vicky, Bobby Floyd and wife Dorothy, Brian Dixon and wife Darlene Sister: Bonnie Patterson and husband Junior Sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Kathleen and Charlie Burnette, Vera Seagle, Betty and Andy Loveday, Marilyn and Eddie Bohanan Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Bobby and Brenda Loveday, Steve and Dwinita Loveday, David Loveday Several nieces and nephews Special friends and family: Doran Huskey, Pam Lane Bruce, Martha Headrick, Leroy Grayson In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mountain Hope Good Shepherd Clinic, 312 Prince Street, Sevierville, TN 37862.
