Joseph Glenn Lindsey, 81, of Sevierville, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017. He was born on September 17, 1935 and raised in the Alder Branch Community. Joseph was a good natured country boy who enjoyed hunting and fishing near home. He was a member of Alder Branch Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonzo and Minnie Lindsey; foster brother, Charles Foster and wife, Winnie; and brother-in-law, Ben Johnson.
Joseph is survived by his children, Penny Lindsey, Pamela Lindsey, and Glenda Copeland and her husband, Roy; grandchildren, Laquesta Denise Williams and Cody Whaley; sister, Edith Johnson of Maryville; nephews, Donnie and Joe Johnson; foster nieces, Bobbie, Susie, and Shirley; his cherished pet and companion, Bandit.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gideons International, 400 Parkway in Sevierville, Tennessee 37862.
