Jack E. Lindsey, age 69 of Kodak, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2005.
Mr. Lindsey was born in Sevierville, worked in Knoxville and lived in Kodak. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Sevierville. He was employed by Tennessee Department of Transportation for 40 years, retiring in 1995. He was a member of Tennessee Association of Professional Surveyors and served as District Manager of Knox Chapman Utility District from 1995 and retired in 2004.
He was preceded in death by parents Bart and Johnnie Lindsey.

Children: Steve Lindsey, Kelly Phillips and husband Chris Phillips
Grandchildren: Nicholas Lindsey, Cory, Chase and, Riley (RJ) Phillips
Aunts: Blanche Hodges and family, Doshia Sims and family
Uncle: Clifford Lindsey and wife Marie
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church, Building Fund, 317 Parkway, Sevierville, TN 37862.
Funeral service 2 PM Monday in Atchley’s Seymour Chapel with Rev. Jerry Hyder officiating. Eulogies by Bob Campbell and Robert Garrett. Interment will follow in Alder Branch Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris, Cory, Chase and Riley Phillips, Kent Simpson, Chad Benton. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Price, Gary Jones, Jerry Mason, George Parks, Tommy DeBusk, Hal Clemmons, and Mike Burnett. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Sunday at Atchley Funeral Home, Seymour, 122 Peacock Court, Seymour, TN. (www.atchleyfuneralhome.com)
