Billy C. (Bill) Brady, 84, of Point Pleasant, went to be with his Lord Sunday, June 25, 2006, at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital in Morristown. He was a millwright with Enka by trade and a member of McCowan Creek Church of God. Mr. Brady is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret (Padgett) Brady; parents, Barney and Martha Turner Brady; infant sister, Jean; a great-great-grandson, Jeremy Hammontree; step-grandson, Michael Beales; and son-in-law, Edwin McMahan. He is survived by his children, Rita McMahan, of Newport; Glenda and husband, Bill Beales, of Bracey, Va.; and Larry and wife, Teresa Brady, of Newport. Mr. Brady will also be sadly missed by his five grandchildren, Tim McMahan, Beverly and husband Gary Hammontree, Melissa and Richard Cook, James and Dreama Brady, and Larry C. Brady; four great-grandchildren, Jessica, Joseph, Kayra, and Emili; three step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 27, 2006, from 6 - 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 28, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. at McCowan Creek Church of God with the Rev. Bobby Napier officiating. Interment will follow at New Home Cemetery. Brown Funeral Home has been honored to provide the final arrangements for Mr. Billy (Bill) C. Brady.
