Nancy Margaret P. Brady, 86, of Point Pleasant, went to be with her Lord Monday, November 17, 2003, at Mariner Health of Newport.
She was a homemaker and a faithful member of McCowan Creek Church of God.
Her parents, Tom and Eunice (Holt) Padgett; great-great grandson, Jeremy Hamontree; brothers, Robert Padgett and Price Padgett; sisters, Bonnie Kate Buckner, Edna Dover, Benda Ridley, Ella Jean Ramsey, Ruth Mullins, and Nita Holt; two infant siblings; and one step-grandson, Michael Beales, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Billy C. Brady, of Point Pleasant; daughters: Rita McMahan, of Point Pleasant; Glenda Beales and her husband, Bill, of Bracey, Va.; and son, Larry Brady and his wife, Teresa, of Newport; grandchildren: Tim McMahan, Gary Hammontree, Melissa Cook, James Edward Brady, and Larry Clay Brady; four great-grandchildren: Jessica, Joseph, Kayra, and Emili; three step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Brady will also be missed by a devoted nephew, Dan Holt, and many other special nieces and nephews and a host of special friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, November 19, 2003, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Thursday, November 20, 2003, at McCowan Creek Church of God with Rev. Bobby Napier officiating.
Interment will follow at New Home Cemetery.
Mrs. Brady will lie in state at the church from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Brown Funeral Home has been honored to provide the final arrangements for Mrs. Nancy Margaret P. Brady.
