Pearl Moore Matthews March 27, 1932 - December 18, 2010 Birthplace: Sevier County Resided In: Sevierville Tennessee Visitation: December 21, 2010 Service: December 21, 2010 Cemetery: Zion Hill Cemetery Pearl Moore Matthews, age 78 of Sevierville, went peacefully into the arms of her Heavenly Father on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Asbury Place. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and a retired secretary for Quality Construction. She grew up in Sevier County and enjoyed sewing, UT Football and the Lady Vols. Her love in life was her family, friends and Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy R. Matthews; parents, Arthur and Ida Moore; brother, Fred Moore; and brother-in-law, Fred Webb. Survivors: Daughter and Son-in-law: Sharon and Gary Conklin Granddaughter: Sherrie Flynn and husband Mike Brother and Sister-in-law: Sherrill and Janice Moore Sisters and Brother-in-law: Grace and Gene Owen, Virginia Webb Sister-in-law: Charlotte Masucci Several nieces and nephews The family would like to give special thanks to Blount Memorial Hospice, the staff of Asbury Place and Kaye Burchett for their kindness, gracious support and loving care of Pearl. She is greatly loved and will be missed deeply. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. Funeral service 7 PM Tuesday at Atchley’s Seymour Chapel with Rev. Floyd Powell and Rev. Kenneth Stansberry officiating. Eulogy by her brother Sherrill Moore. Interment 11 AM Wednesday in Zion Hill Cemetery.
