Knight, 82, of Maryville, passed away Monday, June 27, 2011, at his home. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Gladys Parrett Knight; infant sister, Lucy Knight; sister, Lucille Loveday; brother, Joseph Knight. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Irene Knight; son, Ruben Joseph Knight; niece-daughter, Terrie Merion Fancy; granddaughter, Lilly Summer Knight; brother and sister-in-law, John L. and Thelma Knight, several nieces and nephews. No services are planned at this time. Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville is in charge of his services.
