WHALEY, LUCILLE RUSSELL - 92, of Sevierville, went to be with the Lord November 30, 1999. Mrs. Whaley was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sevierville since 1922. Her husband, J. Roy Whaley, preceded Lucille in death. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Iva Whaley of Sevierville; grandson, Tommy Whaley of Sevierville; granddaughters and husbands, Judy and Rick Hollifield of Dandridge, Brenda and Randy Henry of Knoxville, Beckie and John Cogdill of Sevierville; eight great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Ray Norton of Seymour; sisters-in-law, Stella Russell of Maryville, Leo Russell of Knoxville, Janima Underwood of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews. Service will be 8 p.m. Thursday, December 2, at Rawlings Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bill Barnes and Rev. Rick Hollifield officiating. Interment will be 10 a.m. Friday, December 3, at Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 2, from 6-8 p.m. at Rawlings Funeral Home.
