Preceded in death by her son, Mike Wardell; parents, Ralph F. and Ferba Keener; and brothers Sonny Keener and Bill Keener. Survivors include her daughter, Pat Reed and husband, Jim; granddaughters Ashley Mellon and husband, Ben, Megan Spitzer and husband, Ron, and Jennifer Zadakaus and husband, Lee; great granddaughters Caitlyn and Hannah Correll; special friends Diane Weeks, Ella Mae Boling, and Betty Mounger; and beloved Lab, Zoe. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your animal shelter of choice. A special thank you to two wonderful nurses who cared for Doris: Beth, in the UTMC-MCC Department and Chapel at Golden Living in Clinton. Rawlings Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
