(August 18, 1950 - October 1, 2013) Guy Victor Paris, Sr age 63, of Newport died Tuesday Morning at his Home. He was preceded in death by his parents Troy and Anna Ruth Paris,Brothers Jimmy Ray And Bruce Edward Paris, sister Carolyn Baker. He is survived by his wife Sandra Paris, son Guy Paris, Jr. of Newport, daughters Gwen Taylor of Newport and Leiksha Wills of Asheville, NC. Brothers Troy, Danny, Bobby Paris of Knoxville, Darrell and Joe Paris of Marshall, NC. Sister Nancy Ann Paris of Marshall, NC. The family wishes to say a special thanks to the Caris Hospice and special caregivers Melissa, Lisa, Angie and Cara. Funeral service will be 7 p.m. Thursday at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Ball and Rev. Norman Harbin officiating. Family will receive friends Thursday from 5 – 7 p.m. prior to the service. Graveside service will be 9:30 a.m. Monday at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery 2200 E. Gov. John Sevier Hway, Knoxville, Tn. Brown Funeral Home is honored to serve the Paris family.
