Mary Ruth Tilson, age 88, of Knoxville, passed away on Wednesday, January 18th, 2012. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister and aunt. She is preceded in death by husband Theodore Tilson, son; Benny Tilson, parents; Ben and Lola Jenkins, and brothers; David, Ralph, and Jack Jenkins. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law; Lola and Ronald Harbin, sons; Willie, Eddie and Jimmy Tilson, grandchildren; Lisa, Robin, Becky, Danny, Sandra, Jason, Cindy, Jimmy, Crystal and Shelby, many beloved great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, brothers and sisters-in-law; Don and Della Jenkins, Clyde and Gemma Jenkins, and Raymond and Barbara Jenkins, special niece; Connie. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 21st, 2012, from 11:00 to 1:00 PM at Highland Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with funeral service to immediately follow with her brother Clyde Jenkins officiating. Graveside services will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
