He was retired from Bush Brothers and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac Ivey and Mary Dennison Ivey; and brother, William Ivey. Survivors: wife, Lillie Baker Ivey; son and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Vickie Ivey of Dandridge; daughters and sons-in-law, Redana and Doug Insco of Dandridge, Kay Shoemaker of Dandridge, and Shirley and John Booker of White Pine; grandchildren, Corey Ivey, Dusty and Kristin Shoemaker, and Shelby Brihn; brother, Roy Ivey; and sisters, Ernestine Lewis, Trula Hay, Johnnie McGaha, Ina Runyan, Betty Hatcher, and Evelyn Leda. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Burchfield Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Jackie Parton and Rev. Hal Kirk officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Atchley Funeral Home in Sevierville. Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville, is in charge.
