INGLE, ROY E. - age 87, died Saturday, July 7, 2007, at UT Medical Center. An Army veteran of World War II, he was retired from South Central Bell with 43 years of service. He was an active member and deacon of Central Baptist Church of Fountain City, a member of the Joy Makers Choir, and member and treasurer of the Mr. & Mrs. Sunday School Class. He was past president and member of Fountain City Lions Club, and a member of Bright Hope Lodge and South Central Bell Pioneers. He was preceded in death by: his first wife, Virginia Torbett Ingle; brother, Landis Ingle; sister, Sarah Ellen Ingle and grandson Andrew Lane. He is survived by: the love of his life, Ernestine (Ernie) Hutcheson Lawless Ingle; daughters and sons-in-law, Valecia and Larry Crisafulli, Washington, D.C., and Sylvia and Terry Oberle, Winston-Salem, North Carolina; grandchildren, Nick (Susan) Crisafulli, Memphis, Tennessee, Alex Crisafulli, Chicago, Illinois, and Ginny Oberle, Winston-Salem; great-children, Jaden and Sofia Crisafulli, Memphis; brother, Gilbert, Sevierville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Evelyn and Verlis Martin, Sevierville, and Mary and Lynn Davis, Seymour; brother-in-law and wife, O. W. and Louise Hutcheson; sisters-in-law, Ima Humpston and Vera Holt; and many nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life Service is at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Gentry-Griffey Chapel, Rev. Ron Mouser officiating. Memorials may be made to: Central Baptist Church of Fountain City, 5364 N. Broadway, Knoxville, Tennessee 37918. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at Lynnhurst Cemetery for an 10 a.m. internment service. Family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Gentry-Griffey Chapel.
