Bell, James Harold age 83 of Maryville passed away Monday, October 31, 2005 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Peck’s Memorial United Methodist Church for over 55 years. He retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company and was a member of The 25 Year Club. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Order of the Eastern Star. Preceded in death by parents, Marshall and Pearl Bell; brother, Woodrow Bell; sister, Ida Bell Huskey; mother-in-law, Nellie M. Roberts. Survivors include wife of 61 years, Clara Roberts Bell; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Paulette Bell of Wears Valley, Bobby and Connie Bell of Maryville; three grandsons, Scott Bell, Daren and wife, Jennifer Bell, Jeremy Bell; granddaughter, Erin Bell; sister-in-law, Sue Bell of Maryville; nephews, Jerry Bell and Gary Bell; niece, Janice Williams. Funeral Service will be 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2005 in the West Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Mack Turner, Jr. officiating. Interment will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 3, 2005 at Grandview Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 983-1000.
