She was a member of Pecks Memorial United Methodist Church. She taught in the Blount County School System for thirty-five years. She loved her grandchildren and quilting. She will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Carico; parents, Harley and Beulah Huskey; and brother, Louis Huskey. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Rebecca Carico; daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Brian Frazier; grandchildren, Joshua, Kylie, and Chase Carico and Garrett Frazier; sisters, Rose Huskey and Vendeda Tulloch; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 5:00 PM Sunday, January 26, 2014, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Kenny Tucker officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142, (800) 873-6983.
