Delmar was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a Veteran and retired from Neighborhood Services. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert C. Parton and Mittie McCarter. Delmar is survived by his wife, Wilma L. Parton; children, Brian Parton and Tiffany Ogle, Michelle Parton, Tina Rayfield, Mike Rayfield and wife, Angela; grandchildren, Bobby Cate, Tiffany Antunez and husband, Milton, Danielle Shoemaker, Michael Rayfield Jr., Colby Rayfield, and Timothy Allen; great-grandchildren, Haydin, Milton, Jackson, Raina, Bentley, and Emma; brothers, Bill Parton and wife, Eva, and Glen McCarter and wife, Frances. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Saturday with the funeral service to follow at 7 pm in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville with Rev. Donald Parton and Rev. Mike Quilliams officiating. A procession will leave Atchley Funeral Home at 2:45 PM Sunday for a graveside service and interment in Huskey Cemetery.
