She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and a former employee of Bush’s Canning Factory with 25 years of service. Johnnie loved cooking, fishing and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her father, Hollis Manning; mother, Belle Reno; loving husband of 62 years, Clifford Lowe; and children, Judy Hurst, Gary Lowe, and David Lowe. She is survived by her sons, Chuck Lowe, Dan (Dorothy) Lowe and Jerry (Betty Jo) Lowe; daughter, Trula Phillips; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Marvin and Paul Ledbetter; sister-in-law, Eula Williams. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday with funeral service to follow at 7 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. Rev. Jerry Lowe will officiate.
