Hal Reed, age 70 of Gatlinburg, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2007 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. He was a retired Chief Warrant Officer in the U.S. Army. He was an active member of the Smoky Mountain Cruisers Car Club of Sevierville and the Volunteer Street Rod Association of Knoxville.
He was preceded in death by his son, Harrison Reed; daughter, Diane Marie Reed; father, Frank Reed.

Grandsons: Dustin and Brandon Proffitt, Tyler Reed
Granddaughter: Megan Waterhouse

Funeral service 7 PM Monday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Mr. Jim Parton and Mr. Henry Parton officiating. Interment with full military honors 10 AM Tuesday in White Oak Flats Cemetery, Gatlinburg. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Monday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
