Harold Leon Sutton, 59, of Newport, died Sunday, February 18, 2007, at UT Medical Center in Knoxville. He was employed by Long’s Grave Service. Mr. Sutton is preceded in death by his parents, William Allen and Clara Breeden Sutton. He is survived by his wife, Frances (Kirkpatrick), of the home; step-mother, Mary Sutton, of Newport; children, Harold Sutton Jr., of Newport; Sandra Sutton, of Sevierville; Greg Sutton, Bill Ball, Randall Ball, Danny Sutton, all of Newport; five grandchildren, Amanda Sutton, Todd Allen, Britney Elizabeth Sutton, all of Sevierville; Jerry Lynn Ball and Amy Mae Ball, both of Newport. Harold will also be sadly missed by his sisters, Betty Freshour, of Parrottsville; Arlene Kirkpatrick, of Newport; Darlene Sutton, of Newport; and Glenda Kirkpatrick, of Newport; brothers, Walter Sutton, Wallace Sutton, Ronnie Sutton, and Lonnie Sutton, all of Newport, and a host of friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 21, 2007, from 6 – 9 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 22, 2007, at 2 p.m. in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Kitts and the Rev. Clay Sutton officiating.
