UNDERWOOD, TRULA HUFFAKER - age 90, of Oliver Springs, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2002, at her home. Mrs. Underwood was a member of the First Baptist Church of Strawberry Plains. Her husband, Joseph Boyd "Showpony" Underwood daughter, Vivian Underwood, preceded Trula in death. She will be missed by her son, Charles Edward Underwood and wife, Reva grandchildren, Jeffrey Underwood and wife, Jean Ann, Sherri Wood and husband, Tom, Mitzi Garrett and husband, Keith, Kristi Underwood and friend, Kenny Reynolds great-grandson, Dalton Garrett great-granddaughters, Victoria Ballard, Jessica, Jeanette, Jena, Jacque and Jill Underwood step grandchildren, Jason Garrett, Karilena Wood and Thomas Wood sister-in-law, Bertha Mae Young and husband, Rolland brothers-in-law, L. D. Underwood and Leonard Underwood and wife, Rose Mary. Besides the immediate family, many other relatives and friends will miss Trula. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 12, at Rawlings Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tim Stallings officiating. Interment will follow at Beech Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, October 11, at Rawlings Funeral Home. Rolland Young, Jr., Tom Wood, Keith Garrett, Kenny Reynolds, Steve Adams, and Johnny Romines have the privilege of being chosen as pallbearers for Trula.
