Vaughn A. Hill age 93 of Knoxville area passed away Wednesday November 28, 2007 at St. Mary’s Residential Hospice in Halls. He was a life long member of Salem Baptist Church and a 60 year member of the Pipefitters and Steamfitters Local #102. Vaughn loved being with people and especially entertaining with his harmonica. He is preceeded in death by: wife: Dossie Hill, parents: Nevada and Addie Blaine Hill, brothers: Col. Cecil, Rev. Walter, Carl and Don Hill, sisters: Margaret Hill and Lillian Hill Tindell, infant great granddaughter: Chloe Bible. Vaughn leaves his family: daughters and sons-in-law: Kathy and Charles Harrington, Ann and Buddy Hutson, grandchildren and spouses: David and Debbie Harrington, Amy and Alan Bible, Jennifer and John Jones, Debra and Steve Kerber and Erik Hutson, great grandchildren: Chris and Noah Harrington, Charley Rose and Della Bible, Brittany and Casey Hatmaker, Arden and Evan Vaughn Jones, brother: Claude Hill of California, several nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends, also his buddies: Cricket and Katie. Service 7 pm Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, Rev. Irby Russell and Rev. John Holland officiating. Family and friends will meet 1 pm Saturday at Hill Cemetery for interment service. In lieu of flowers donations to be made to his memory at St. Mary’s Residential Hospice 7447 Andersonville Pike, Knoxville, Tn. 37938 or Salem Baptist Church 8201 Hill Rd, Knoxville, 37938. Family will receive friends 5 to 7 pm Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
