July 18, 1937 - December 14, 2017 Louise Helton, who sang gospel music with the “Happy Way Makers” for 52 years, went home to be with the Lord Thursday December 14, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Mae Howell; sisters Judy Faye Howell and Kathy Townsend. Survivors include her husband Howard Helton Sr., with whom she would have celebrated 63 years of marriage on December 22; daughter and son-in-law Teresa Allen and husband Carroll and their children Russell and wife Rachel, Joshua, Larry and wife Samantha; son and daughter-in-law Sonny Helton and wife Kathy and their children Melissa Rutherford and husband Mike, Amanda Troutman and fiancé Joe; daughter and son-in-law Tammy Boling and husband J.R. and their children Iasic Boling and wife Jerica, Tiasha, Makaylah Reed and husband Tyler, and Kasi; 14 great-grandchildren; and another one one the way. brothers Homer Howell and wife Ella, Donnie Howell and wife Susan. The family will receive friends 1:00-3:15 PM Sunday with funeral service to follow at 3:30PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Rev. Danny Sutton and Rev. Chuck Simpson will officiate. Family and friends will leave in procession from Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville at 11 AM Monday for graveside service and interment in Flat Gap Cemetery, New Market, TN. Rev.
