Creswell David Huff, 87, of 2332 West Brook Lane, Johnson City, died Friday, May 7, 2004, at Northside Hospital. He was a native of Cocke County and had lived in Johnson City since 1960.He was preceded in death by his parents, Levi A. and Harriett K. Williams Huff, and three brothers.An Army veteran, he had served in the Army Signal Corps in World War II. He was a retired electrical engineer and former employee of TVA.A former elder at Princeton Presbyterian Church, he had been a member of First Presbyterian Church for the past 20 years.Surviving are his wife, Maryana; one daughter, Anna Catherine Huff; four sons, David H. and wife Sally, Steven H., Samuel Allen and wife Cheryl, and Peter Lynn and wife Julie; one sister; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Services will be held at 2 p.m. today in Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel, 2001 Oakland Ave., Johnson City, with the Rev. Donald Muncie and Dr. William Gorforth officiating. Burial will be at Monte Vista Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to First Presbyterian Church, 105 South Boone St., Johnson City, TN 37604.
