Phillips and wife Jeri, Harvey M. Phillips and wife Linda; daughter, Martha King and husband Gary E.; grandchildren, Kathryn McBride, Robert M. Phillips II, Russell T. Phillips, Sara Jo Shepard, Susan Knoll, Sharon Earley, Jennifer K. Matthews, Emily K. Craigmiles, Michelle Phillips and Stephen Phillips; great-grandchildren, Olivia Knoll, Andrew Knoll, Adam Earley, Allison Earley, Lee Ann Tyler, Jacob Tyler and Adrian Craigmiles.
