Biography:
Connie Holt, General Sessions Court Clerk for Sevier County, has announced her intention to seek re-election. She has worked in General Sessions for 12 years and has served as the clerk for the last 4 years.
Connie is the first person to serve as General Sessions Court Clerk and feels it is a great honor to do so. "I am grateful to serve as the clerk and my staff and I have worked very hard the last 4 years to insure the office operates with honesty, integrity and fairness."
Connie is also the Juvenile Court Clerk and has made a number of changes in this office to better serve the public as well as the Judges, Attorneys, and the Juvenile Staff.
Connie resides in the New Center area with her husband, Mark A. Holt, who worked at the Sevier County Sheriff's Department for 25 years, and now manages a family owned business in Pigeon Forge. They have one son, Andrew, who is 15 and attends Sevier County High School.
