ROGERS, ALBERT G. - age 87 of Seymour passed away Friday August 11, 2006 a St. Mary's Hospice in Halls from a lengthy illness. He was a member of Forest Grove Freewill Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran of WWII. Preceded in death in death by parents Joe and Mary Lou Rogers; son Danny Joe Rogers; brothers Fred and John Rogers; sisters Maude Lusk and Alice French. Survived by wife Ruby Rogers of 63 years of marriage; daughter, Jean Davis; granddaughter Amanda West and husband Marshall; sister, Juanita Huffaker; several nieces and nephews and good friends. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Mary's Hospice 7447 Andersonville Pike. Knoxville, TN 37938 Visitation will be Sunday August 13, 2006 from 4-6 PM at Highland South Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Monday August 14, 2006 at Boyd's Creek Cemetery at 10 AM. Pastor Larry Monday will be officiating. Highland South Memorial Park, Funerals and Cremations.
