Amos Trotter “A.T.” Henderson, age 81 of Sevierville, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2005. Mr. Henderson was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol. He was a lifetime ham radio operator and his call sign was K4EJP.
He was preceded in death by his son Eddie Carrol Henderson, first wife Geneva Henderson, brother Granville Henderson and parents Amos and Addie Henderson.

Children: Gary Dwight Henderson, Jim Henderson and wife Carrie, Sherry Robertson Huskey and husband Charles Ray
Grandchildren: Melissa Ann Henderson, Stephen Henderson, Matt Henderson and wife Sherri, Lynn Byrd and husband John, Derrick Robertson and wife Susan, Amanda Leigh Sandlin and husband Daniel, Stephanie Huskey
Great-grandchildren: Aislynn Byrd, Jace Trotter Henderson, Grace Van Rji
Sister-in-law: Bertha L. Henderson

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Middle Creek Cemetery, c/o Frank Morton, 1846 Middle Creek Rd, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863.
Funeral service 2 PM Sunday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Stansberry officiating. Interment will follow in Middle Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Stephen Henderson, Matt Henderson, Derrick Robertson, John Byrd, Daniel Sandlin, and Mike Rhea. “Ham Buddies” will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Saturday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.(www.atcheyfuneralhome.com)
