(June 19, 1939 - August 10, 2014) Wanda Lou Henry Hurst age 75 was called to worship in Heaven on Sunday, August 10, 2014. She was a native Sevier County resident, attended Birds School and Sevier County High School, and worked many years at Bush Brothers. Wanda was a lifetime member of Burchfield Memorial United Methodist Church and enjoyed sharing pot luck meals with friends, family and the community at church gatherings. She treasured the family’s weekly “Girl’s Night” with granddaughter, Haley Jane. Wanda was preceded in death by her father and mother, John and Eunice Henry; brother, Ronald Hank and sister-in-laws, Marcia Henry and Barbara Henry. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Reed Hurst; son, Vance Hurst; granddaughter, Haley Jane Hurst and her mother, Jeanne Ingle; daughter, Tammy Waters and son-in-law, David; brothers, Theron Henry, Bill Henry and wife, Gracie; Curtis Henry; sister, Carol Wylie and husband, Sammy; as well as many special nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Burchfield Memorial United Methodist Church or to their Cemetery Fund. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2014 , 5:00-7:00 P.M. with the funeral to follow at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Ben Whitted and Rev. Bill Cheetham officiating. Interment will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 14, 2014 in Burchfield Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Mark Barber officiating.
