Oliver Haggard, age 90, of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012. He was a member and deacon of Holston Memorial Baptist Church in Strawberry Plains, Tennessee. He retired from Shaw Industries in Decatur, Tennessee. Oliver was a veteran of World War II where he served in the Army. He loved his family, church and gospel singing.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Jessie Mae Hill Haggard, parents Columbus and Lula Maples Haggard, son-in-law Amos V. Pollard, Jr., granddaughter, Rebecca Pittman, brothers, Lloyd, Charlie and Dee Haggard, sisters, Tina Dockery, Cordie Covington, Flora Belle Williford
