Husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, he was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and married for 62 years to Ruby Helton Johnson. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Gary, and Mikey and his wife Angela; three grandchildren, Cassi, Colby and Lauren; one great-grandchild, Trentyn; two sisters, Virginia Rickett and Nell Lane; and brother Oscar Johnson. He will be sadly missed by friends and family. The body is at Highland South Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends Wednesday, January 21 from 6-9 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday at Highland South Cemetery, Rev.
