He was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Shelby Jean (Helton) Anderson; parents, Horace and Lou Anderson; brother, Richard Anderson; sisters, Mary Richardson and Carolyn Anderson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clifford and Alma Helton. Survivors Survived by wife, Jo Ann Anderson; children: Pandy Surrette and husband, Greg; Carolyn Anderson Day; Janice Covington and husband Mike; and Carl Anderson and wife Rhonda; grandchildren: Destiny Day Soulages and husband Daniel; Cheyenne Surrette Ferree and husband Jonny; Casey Surrette and fiancée Nikki Greene; Lindsay Day; Braden and Haven Anderson; great-grandchildren: Cameron Skylar Soulages, Lakelyn Presley Weaver; Broedy Slade Ferree; sisters: Roberta Ridenour, Katherine Richardson, Jewell Greene, and Judith Anderson; several nieces and nephews. Service Family will receive friends on Saturday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM, Rev. Edsel Hartman officiating. Family and friends will meet at Berry Funeral Home on Sunday at 1:00 PM to go in procession to Mountain View Cemetery in Sevier County for a 2:00 PM interment service.
