Glenn Everett Haynes, age 71 of South Knox County, passed away Friday April 8, 2016. He was a born again believer and member of New Hopewell Baptist Church. Glenn was a graduate of Young High School class of 1963 and a veteran of the 134th Refueling Group of The USAF. He made thousands of friends during his life time, but will be remembered by many as owner of Haynes Excavating and Knoxville Trailer Service and his lifelong love of being a rabbit hunter. He lived his life with integrity and zest. He laughed often and heartily. He loved his family with a passion and his friends deeply and was continually amazed that he had so many.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Neubert and Juanita Haynes

Sons: Aaron Haynes and wife Brandi, Mark and John
Grandchildren: Julie and husband Greg, Justin, and Codi

Memorial service 7 PM Tuesday at New Hopewell Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Loy and Rev. Dwight Singleton officiating eulogy by Michael Hanna. Inurnment 11 AM Wednesday in New Hopewell Cemetery. The family will receive friends 3:30 to 6:30 PM Tuesday at New Hopewell Baptist Church. Arrangements by Atchley Funeral Home, Seymour, 122 Peacock Ct., Seymour, TN 37865.
