Preceded in death by husband, Freeman Galyon; son, Herbert Galyon; several brothers and sisters. Survivors Daughters Carolyn Denton and Dorothy Kanipe; daughter-in-law, Archie Galyon Atchley; grandchildren Sherry, Teresa, Kimberly, Stacy, Jeff, Jimmy, Timmy, and Tony; great-grandchildren Becky, Jason, Lori, Hiba, Kara, Claire, Josh, Jake, Genni, Autumn, and Joshua; 2 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Service Funeral service 8:00 PM Thursday, Berry Funeral Home Chapel, Dr. Bobby Tucker officiating. Family and friends will meet at Highland South Cemetery at 10:00 AM Friday for interment services. Pallbearers will be Tony Strickland, Jimmy Galyon, Timmy Galyon, Jeff Kanipe, Jason Coggins, and Gordon Shepard. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
