Oct. 9, 1912 -- Oct. 18, 1997 Nova Jane Henry, 85, of Modesto died Saturday at Doctors Medical Center. Mrs. Henry was a native of Sevier County, Tenn. She ived in Modesto 34 years. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, George W. Henry of Modesto; children, Mayford Henry, Josie Kirk, Dorothy Ogle and Glenda Cooney, all of Tennessee, and Charlotte Bowers, Geri Gilmer, Barbara Paxia, and Alton Sterling, all of Modesto; brother, Ralph Hayes of Tennessee; sister, Georgia Ogle of Tennessee; and 37 grandchildren, 82 great-grandchildren and 24 great-great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. today at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Santa Nella.
